Week marks Dialogue Among Religions in Iran

LONDON, September 8 (IranMania) - Institute for Dialogue Among Civilizations will organize a meeting titled "Religion's Response to Violence" on September 13 to mark International Week for Dialogue Among Religions, IRNA reported.

The institute's Public Relations Department said on Tuesday that MPs representing the Assyrian, Christian and Zoroastrian communities as well as Seyyed Mohammad Ali Abtahi, head of the institute, will deliver lectures at the event.

The participants will focus on how religious teachings deal with violence.

The International Family for Peace and Friendship Institute organizes the event annually in support of Peace Day designated by the United Nations.
